Ordd.io vs GoTab
The closest comparison we've found — and where the two part ways.
The closest comparison we've found
Both Ordd.io and GoTab let guests scan a QR code and order to where they are — no app download, no counter line. On that core experience, they are genuinely similar.
GoTab focuses on hotels and resorts, delivering to poolside, courtside, rooftop, and similar hotel-property locations. Room charges are posted through a PMS integration (StaynTouch, Mews). It is a capable, purpose-built platform for that segment.
Ordd.io is built for the broader outdoor map — campgrounds, RV resorts, pools & swim clubs, resorts & cabanas, marinas, and food trucks — with native multi-day site tabs (site number + 4-digit PIN) that settle at checkout with no PMS required, plus WiFi vouchers sold directly at checkout and no hardware to buy.
If your venue is a hotel or resort already running a supported PMS, GoTab is worth a serious look. If your guests are sleeping at Site 47, moored at Slip B-12, or lounging at Cabana 5 — and you don't have a PMS — Ordd.io was built for that map.

What is GoTab?
GoTab is a guest-ordering and hospitality commerce platform designed for hotels and resorts. Guests scan a QR code at their location — poolside, courtside, rooftop, or even on the slopes at a ski resort — and order food and drinks directly to where they are, without needing to visit a bar or counter.
GoTab's room-charge capability lets hotel guests post their tab to their folio, which is handled through a property management system integration. The platform supports PMS connections including StaynTouch and Mews. GoTab is a focused, capable platform for the hotel and resort segment it serves — it is the closest peer to Ordd.io that we've found.
What is Ordd.io?
Ordd.io is the operating system for outdoor hospitality — campgrounds, RV resorts, pools & swim clubs, resorts & cabanas, marinas, and food trucks. Guests scan a QR code at their campsite, pool chair, dock slip, or cabana, browse a mobile menu, and order without an app. Staff deliver to named, mapped locations — SITE 47 · LAKESIDE, CABANA 5, DOCK B-12 — or the guest gets an SMS when their order is ready.
The native multi-day site tab is the core feature that sets Ordd.io apart for campgrounds and RV resorts: guests open a tab under their site number and a 4-digit PIN, the whole family orders against it over multiple days, and it settles at checkout — no PMS, no folio system, no hotel infrastructure required.
Additional features include WiFi vouchers sold directly at checkout with Cisco Meraki auto-provisioning, group carts (one 6-character code for a whole group), multi-storefront management (pool bar, camp store, snack shack under one dashboard), and a daily AI briefing for owners. Flat $249/month, no commission, no hardware to buy.
Where they overlap
The genuine overlap is real and worth naming: both platforms deliver on the core promise of guest-facing mobile ordering to remote or outdoor locations. A guest at a resort pool orders without walking to the bar. That experience — QR code in hand, phone as the menu and payment terminal, order delivered to where you're sitting — is something both platforms execute well.
If you're running a traditional hotel or resort with a working PMS, comparing both platforms carefully makes sense. The feature sets are genuinely close at the order-to-location layer.
Where they part ways: segments
GoTab is designed for hotels and resorts. Its marketing explicitly covers poolside, courtside, rooftop, and ski-slope locations — all within a hotel or resort property context. GoTab does not serve campgrounds, marinas, or swim clubs.
Ordd.io was built for the outdoor map that extends well beyond hotel fences: campgrounds where guests sleep in Site 47 for three nights; RV resorts with a pool bar, camp store, and activity desk; swim clubs where the lifeguard shouldn't have to manage a snack-bar line; marinas where provisions go to Slip B-12; and food trucks where the window line keeps moving. These venues share outdoor delivery needs but have almost no PMS infrastructure — and they don't need one with Ordd.io.
Charge-to-site vs room charge
GoTab room charge works by posting the guest's tab to their hotel folio through a PMS. This is a standard hospitality workflow — it's how resort charges have worked for decades, and GoTab executes it well. The dependency is the PMS integration: StaynTouch, Mews, or another supported system must be in place and connected for room-charge posting to work.
Ordd.io charge-to-site is a native feature that requires no PMS at all. A guest at a campground or RV resort opens a tab by entering their site number and a 4-digit PIN set at check-in. The whole group orders against that tab over multiple days. At departure, the tab settles. The site tab is, as we think of it, the room charge of the outdoors — the same convenience, no hotel infrastructure required.
WiFi & seasonality
Ordd.io includes WiFi vouchers sold directly at checkout, with Cisco Meraki auto-provisioning and configurable speed tiers (Basic, Stream, Work). For campground and RV resort operators, WiFi is increasingly a revenue line, not just an amenity. We haven't found another hospitality ordering platform that sells and provisions WiFi at checkout — though we'd welcome correction.
Seasonal pause: Open May–September? Ordd.io is working toward letting you pause your subscription in the off-season, so you pay for the months you operate. (Proposed feature — not yet shipped.)
Which one is right for you?
Choose Ordd.io if…

You want multi-day guest tabs without hotel infrastructure
Site number + 4-digit PIN, open for the whole stay, settle at departure. No folio system, no PMS connection, no IT project — just a tab that works like the room charge of the outdoors.
WiFi is a revenue line at your property
Sell Basic, Stream, and Work WiFi tiers at checkout with Cisco Meraki auto-provisioning. Guests buy connectivity when they order their first meal.
You want no hardware and a flat monthly price
$249/month, everything included, runs on devices you already own. Month-to-month, cancel anytime, 7-day free trial, no credit card required.
Choose GoTab if…
You're a hotel or resort already running a supported PMS
If StaynTouch, Mews, or another GoTab-integrated PMS is already live at your property, GoTab's room-charge posting works within your existing infrastructure. It's a capable platform for that context.
Room-charge-to-folio posting is a hard requirement
If your guests expect their poolside tab to show up on their hotel bill at checkout — as a folio line item — GoTab's PMS integration handles that workflow natively.
Bottom line
GoTab is a real, capable platform and the closest peer to Ordd.io we've found. The distinction is segment focus and infrastructure dependency: GoTab is for hotels and resorts with a PMS; Ordd.io is for the broader outdoor map — campgrounds, marinas, swim clubs, RV resorts, food trucks — where guests tab by site number and PIN, not folio, and where no PMS has ever been installed.
