What is Ordd.io?

Ordd.io is the mobile ordering and operations OS built for outdoor hospitality — campgrounds, RV resorts, pools and swim clubs, resorts and cabanas, marinas, and food trucks. Guests scan a QR code at their site, cabana, dock slip, or pool chair and order from their phone browser — no app required. Charges go to a site tab tied to a site number and a 4-digit PIN, settling at checkout with no PMS integration needed. Flat $249/month, everything included. Bars and restaurants are also fully supported.

Do guests need to download an app?

No. Guests scan a QR code and your menu opens directly in their phone's browser — no download, no account creation. Your guest at Site 47 can be ordering a burger and a bag of ice within seconds of arrival.

Does Ordd.io work alongside my existing POS or reservation system?

Ordd.io works standalone or can connect via API to your current setup. No PMS (property management system) is required for site tabs — guests charge by site number and PIN without any reservation-system integration. If you want to push data to another system, the API is available.

Does Ordd.io still work for bars and restaurants?

Yes. Table QR ordering, bartender screens, staff POS with Stripe Terminal, tab management, and modifiers are all fully supported. Outdoor hospitality is the primary positioning, but the system is capable at any food-and-beverage venue.

Charge-to-site & tabs

How do site tabs work?

Site tabs are multi-day tabs tied to a campsite, cabana, or slip number and a 4-digit PIN you set at check-in. Every order from that site — Day 1 through checkout — accumulates on the tab. The guest pays the full balance in one transaction when they leave. No PMS integration required. Think of it as the room charge of the outdoors.

Is a site tab secure?

Yes. Each tab is protected by a 4-digit PIN you issue at check-in. Only someone who knows both the site number and the PIN can add charges. Staff can reset PINs from the dashboard at any time.

Can a whole family or group order together?

Yes. Group carts let every member of a group add items from their own phone using a shared 6-character code — Code: SUNDK7 — then one payment clears the whole order. No PA system, no running to the window.

Delivery

How do orders reach a guest at a campsite, cabana, dock slip, or pool chair?

Ordd.io supports two delivery modes. Named mapped delivery: each QR code is tied to a named location — SITE 47 · LAKESIDE, CABANA 5, SLIP B-12 — and staff see the exact destination on screen. SMS pickup: when the order is ready, the guest gets a text and picks up at the window. You choose the mode per storefront, or offer both.

Pricing

How much does Ordd.io cost?

$249 per month flat — unlimited orders, storefronts, and staff. Payment processing is 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction via Stripe, or bring your own processor at no extra Ordd.io fee. 7-day free trial, no credit card required to start.

Is Ordd.io commission-free?

Yes — 0% commission on every order. You pay the flat monthly fee and standard payment-processing fees only. Compare that to DoorDash, which takes 15–30% commission per order. With Ordd.io you own the guest relationship and keep the full sale.

Can I pause my subscription in the off-season?

We're rolling out a seasonal pause for May–September venues so you won't pay through the winter. Contact us to join the early-access list while the feature completes rollout.

Seasonal pause coming soon.  Open May–September? Pause your subscription in the off-season.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Ordd.io is month-to-month with no long-term contract. Cancel from your dashboard anytime — no penalties, no cancellation fees.

Setup

How long does setup take?

Average self-serve setup is about 20 minutes. Prefer to hand it off? Send us your menu in any format — PDF, photo, or a note — and we'll build it within 24 hours as part of white-glove setup, which is included free with every plan.

Do I need to buy any hardware?

No. Ordd.io runs on any device with a browser — phones, tablets, or the laptop already behind your bar. Stripe Terminal card readers are supported as an optional add-on for staff POS, but nothing is required to get started.

How do QR codes map to specific sites, cabanas, and slips?

In the dashboard you create a named location for each site, cabana, slip, or chair. Each location gets a unique QR code to print on a laminated card, stake sign, or table tent. When a guest scans, the order is pre-tagged with that location — staff see it immediately on the delivery screen.

Features

Does Ordd.io sell WiFi vouchers?

Yes. Guests can purchase WiFi access at checkout alongside their food order. On Cisco Meraki networks, Ordd.io auto-provisions the voucher across speed tiers (Basic, Stream, Work). As far as we've found, no other hospitality ordering system sells and auto-provisions WiFi at the point of order.

Can I run multiple storefronts from one dashboard?

Yes. Pool bar, camp store, snack shack, and merch stand are all separate storefronts — each with its own menu, hours, and QR codes — managed from one dashboard at the flat monthly price. No per-storefront fees.

Does Ordd.io support scheduled and seasonal pricing?

Yes. Happy-hour pricing, weekend rates, and seasonal price changes are automated in the dashboard. Set the schedule once and prices flip automatically — no staff intervention required.

What is the weather-aware display and AI daily digest?

Customer-facing display screens can surface weather context alongside your menu, helping guests make decisions on a hot day or a rainy afternoon. Each morning, Ordd.io generates an owner briefing — yesterday's sales, trending items, the day's forecast, and restock suggestions — so you have the signal you need before staff arrive.

Does Ordd.io handle tips?

Yes. Guests choose a tip at checkout — suggested amounts or a custom value. Tips process with the order and appear in your payout. Operators report roughly 25% higher tips when guests order from their phone versus flagging down staff.

Comparisons

How is Ordd.io different from Toast?

Toast is a restaurant POS built for indoor dining — it never names campgrounds, marinas, or swim clubs in its product. Multi-day billing in Toast requires a PMS folio integration, which is a paid add-on. Toast also follows a hardware-terminal sales model with significant upfront equipment costs. Ordd.io runs on devices you already own, ships native site tabs with no PMS required, and is purpose-built for venues where guests are 400 yards from the snack bar. Full comparison →

How is Ordd.io different from GoTab?

GoTab serves hotels and resorts with QR ordering to poolside and rooftop — it's the closest competitor for resort use cases. However, GoTab's room-charge feature requires a PMS integration (StaynTouch, Mews), and GoTab does not serve campgrounds, marinas, or swim clubs. Ordd.io ships native site tabs without any PMS and covers the full outdoor hospitality spectrum. Full comparison →

How is Ordd.io different from Square?

Square offers QR ordering with generic vocabulary — tables, walk-up windows, parking spots — with no outdoor-specific ordering flows for sites, slips, or deck chairs, and no native site-tab or multi-day billing concept. Ordd.io is designed from the ground up for venues where the guests move, the season turns, and the staff wears sunscreen. Full comparison →

How is Ordd.io different from DoorDash?

DoorDash is a delivery marketplace that charges 15–30% commission per order and operates off-premises. Ordd.io is an on-site ordering system with 0% commission — guests at your campsite or cabana order from their phone, staff deliver to the mapped location, and you keep the full sale minus standard payment processing. You own the guest relationship. Full comparison →

Support

What support does Ordd.io provide?

Email support is included with all plans. White-glove onboarding — where we build your menu for you — is also included free. Reach us at ordd.io/contact and we'll respond the same business day.

Can I see a live demo?

Yes. Go to ordd.io/demo to walk through the full guest ordering experience — scan the demo QR, browse the menu, add items, and see how orders appear on the staff screen. No sales call required.

What happens if the internet goes down?

If connectivity drops, guests cannot place new QR orders. Orders already placed are saved and sync when connectivity returns. For outdoor venues with variable signal, we recommend a dedicated connection for your ordering network and a traditional service backup for rare outages.
